Triple Chocolate Brownies Recipe

Warm Gooey Chocolate Brownies

Try this Chocolate Feast with my Triple Chocolate Brownies Recipe. These brownies have three kinds of chocolate and nuts.



They are truly fudge-like and delicious. The white chocolate blocks actually cooked into caramel which the kids loved as did I. For a treat, serve the warmed chocolate brownies with vanilla icecream or whipped cream.

Triple Chocolate Brownies Recipe

  • 300g dark chocolate
  • 100g white chocolate
  • 100g milk chocolate
  • 250g butter chopped into cubes
  • 5 large eggs
  • 1 3/4 cups (400ml) castor sugar
  • pinch of salt
  • 1 1/2 cups (375ml) sifted flour
  • 1 packet (100g) of pecan nuts

How To Make Chocolate Brownies

  1. Preheat oven to 180 C / 350 F / Gas 4

  2. Break the dark chocolate into pieces and melt it with the chopped butter in a heatproof bowl over a pan of simmering water. Mix to combine and set aside to cool.

  3. Grease and line a rectangular baking tin with baking paper - I tend ot just do the greasing bit and leave out the baking paper lining.

  4. Beat the eggs and castor sugar together. Fold the egg and sugar mixture through the melted chocolate.

  5. Sift the flour and add a pinch of salt. Mix the flour into the chocolate mixture - dont over mix but make sure its combined.

  6. Break up the pecan nuts with a rolling pin . Break up the slabs of white chocolate and milk chocolate into pieces.

  7. Mix the pecan nuts and chocolate pieces through the brownie batter and pour into the greased baking tin.

  8. Bake the chocolate brownies for 30 - 35 minutes. The 'crust' must crack, and the inside should be firm, but still slightly gooey.

  9. Cut and serve hot or cold as is, or with ice-cream or whipped cream.
