Chocolate Covered Pretzels Recipe
Chocolate Dipped Pretzels - Gifts or Party Food
I tried out this Chocolate Covered Pretzels Recipe for Christmas gifts and for some party food.
Dipping pretzels in chocolate is a fun activity to do with kids - a bit messy though. I gave my daughter some pretzels, a baking tray and two chopsticks for holding the pretzels to dip them, then let her get to work. It was a great time for all, we enjoyed eating the chocolate covered pretzels and giving them as gifts. Maybe we'll adopt this as a new Christmas tradition. For something different try dipping the chocolate covered pretzels in coconut, sprinkles or confectioners sugar. Colored sprinkles are so pretty and make the coated pretzels into a great gift. Chocolate Covered Pretzels Recipe- Finely chop 100g good quality chocolate (70% cocoa) and melt it with a teaspoon of butter or shortening in a small pot over a double boiler.

Chocolate Notes and Food Lover Quotes- "Happy and successful cooking doesn't rely upon know-how, it comes from the heart, makes great demands on the palate and needs enthusiasm and a deep love of food to bring it to life." Georges Blanc, Ma Cuisine des Saisons.
